Digital Domain 3.0 has a long storied history. The stages themselves were first used for Robert Zemeckis and Image Movers Digital for films such as A Christmas Carol and Mars Needs Moms. After Digital Domain took over the stage from Image Movers our team took on films such as Ready Player One and Jungle Book. Since then we have a variety of AAA videogames, Feature Films, Episodics, Commercials, and metaverse project shoot on our stage.

Digital Domain’s Performance Capture stage is a service stage and open to all clients. Digital Domain offers Motion Capture, Full Performance Capture, Virtual Cameras. Realtime services in Motion Builder or Unreal. We have 5 Techoprops HMC’s in house and 3 XSens suits for location based work. We also offer a proprietary facial capture system referred to as Masquerade that has been used on countless Marvel features and most recently The Quarry. Our team took on Supermassive Games’ The Quarry which showcases fifteen characters across thirty-two hours of performance capture shot on our mocap stage. We used our Masquerade 2.0 process and created a new game product called Chatterbox, which allowed Supermassive Games to make interactive adjustments to the character at runtime if necessary. These characters run on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
